Perrywoods FC has developed the F.A Laws of the Game to suit Multi-League needs.
They have been approved by Birmingham County Football Association as appropriate to our members.
All players are exposed to social attitudes and ‘growing up’ challenges.
Players are placed after careful consideration of physical, mental and technical abilities.
Hopefully all age groups can retain fun and enjoyment in their games .
Although all players go through the development stages described on these pages it is important to note that they may not go through them at the same age. To address this we take ability, physique and maturity into account rather than just age when deciding which sections to place players into at the start of and during a season.
Standard F.A / F.I.F.A Laws of the Game apply, with the following alterations:
Typically years 3 and 4
6-a-side, max 2 rolling subs, Size 3 football, 20 minutes each way
No goal kicks. Goalkeeper throws or rolls ball out. Opponents cannot score directly; they must pass first.
Pass backs are allowed.
Kick ins as opposed to throw-ins are used. Opponent must be at least 2 metres away
No outfield players allowed in goal area (only applies if seeking advantage). If defender enters area – Penalty; If attacker enters area – Free kick 1m outside
Goalkeeper allowed to kick ball in open play, unless he/she picks it up then he/she must roll it.
No offside.
General
Shinpads must be worn at all times and covered by socks.
Spectators must stand 1 metre back from the pitch and never behind the goals.
There is a rope to indicate where the 1 metre line is aligned.
No chewing gum to be eaten or jewellery worn while playing.
Duration of match as per fixtures.
Teams causing late kick-offs will have the time deducted from their game to make sure all games run to schedule.
